Welcome to the Global Health Institute
The Global Health Institute seeks to come alongside frontline health and development workers to assist in overcoming the complex challenges they face in the prevention of disease and the treatment and promotion of human health and wholeness. We do this through educational programs such as the Christian Global Health in Perspective course and through graduate-level Certificate and Master's degree programs. We also assist in overcoming the factors leading to human suffering by utilizing research and innovation to help identify and address the root causes of disease and encouraging innovative solutions that promote human flourishing.
Dr. Dan O’Neill replaces Dr. Mike Soderling as the new Director of the Global Health Institute. Dr. Dan O’Neill is a physician-theologian. He brings great commitment, knowledge, and expertise to lead the Global Health Institute forward. The WCIU community is tremendously excited to welcome Dr. Dan O’Neill into this new role!
