Michael Soderling, M.D., MBA

Dr. Michael Soderling is the Founding Director of William Carey International University’s Global Health Institute, a ministry focused on advancing global health, healing, and wholeness. An OB/GYN by training, he served for 10 years in Wisconsin before moving to Guatemala, where he co-founded Salud que Transforma and El Refugio, a shelter for abused women. Dr. Soderling also manages the Christian Journal for Global Health and initiatives like Best Practices in Global Health Missions. His passion extends to systems thinking and equipping local churches for holistic care.
