President Cornelius Sits Down With Our New Provost, Dr. Linda P. Saunders
In May 2026, President Cornelius sat down with our new Provost, Dr. Linda P. Saunders. In this conversation, Dr. Saunders shares about what brought her to WCIU, her hopes for this new season at the University, and her excitement in her new role as Provost. As Provost, Dr. Saunders oversees the Academic direction of the University and is already actively at work with our renowned faculty creating new programs that focus on holistic mission engagement, such as the newly accredited Certificate of Global Women’s Empowerment, as well as several upcoming programs in the areas of Trauma & Healing, the Theology of Health and Healing, and Pastoral Counseling.
