WCIU signs MOU with William Soeryadjaya Academy

William Carey International University (WCIU) is honored to partner with WSA. We know that education is important in creating transformational solutions and flourishing. We are confident this program will make a difference in the life and work of so many. So, on August 16, 2022, Acting President, Dr. Peter McLallen signed an MOU on behalf of WCIU with Morihot Sitorus of WSA. The WSA WSA-WCIU Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) Programme is available to the WCIU network as a resource for informal educators to obtain formal teaching accreditation.


The CICTL program aims to equip teachers to:

  • Improve their teaching to enhance the quality of their students’ learning through exploring and applying new ideas in their own context

  • Develop critical engagement with key education theories and concepts

  • Integrate new approaches in their own practice

  • Focus on effective and reflective practice to promote active learning through demonstrating their professional development as a reflective practitioner
