A Grateful Farewell to Dr. Peter McLallen

The leadership at William Carey International University would like to publicly announce that Dr. Peter McLallen has moved on from his role as Provost and to thank him for over 5 years of service to the University. 

During his time at WCIU Peter filled several key interim roles such as the VP of Academic Affairs before becoming the Executive VP, a role from which he helped lay a solid operational foundation for the University to expand our program offerings and Institutes and to strengthen our personnel across the organization. Peter provided essential leadership during his time as interim President while the Board conducted the search that resulted in the appointment of Dr. Paul Corneilus to the Presidency in early 2023. He has since served as the Provost until he stepped down last month.

He will continue to serve as a member of the Women's Institute Steering Commitee, which we are excited about! We are grateful for Peter's enormous contribution to the life of WCIU and we wish him well in his future endeavors!
