What relevance might a movement of female Scandanavian evangelists from 1892-1918 have for our busy and modern lives today? It turns out the story of these “Prophesying Daughters” is filled with many significant insights that can help us more effectively develop women for fruitful missional impact in our era.
In this webinar we will talk with Dr. David Gustafson, Chair & Professor of Evangelism and Missional Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Because of his linguistic skills, David was able to go into archives and discover over 150 Scandanavian women whose missional efforts were critical to planting churches and leading people to Christ, often in extremely difficult contexts in the U.S. and in other nations.
David Gustafson, PhD, is a mission historian, educator and practitioner. His areas of expertise include evangelism, Evangelical Free Church history, and missional praxis.
