In this webinar we will explore administrative service and leadership as an essential ministry of cultivation―nurturing people, stewarding resources, and creating conditions where others can thrive.
Through her holistic framework of “taking good care,” Dr. Jana Holiday contrasts domineering models of leadership with more fruitful stewardship models and explains how to cultivate organizational ecosystems that promote flourishing.
Administrative professionals―whether managing a small church office or overseeing complex institutional operations―will discover how their work can become an instrument of Christian formation, both for themselves and those they serve.
Jana Holiday, PhD, currently serves as Dean of Students at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She also served as Dean of Students and as Associate Dean of Students at Trinity International University / Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) from 2012-2019.
Her dissertation research was on administrative imagination; a capacity leaders can develop to see new ways to solve problems. She has an MA in Philosophy of Religion and another one in Christian Studies, also from TEDS. She spent 6 years as Director of Community Life at Lakeview Covenant Church in Chicagoland. Jana’s new book on this topic is being published this month by Eerdmans Press.
