Master of Arts in International Development

1st Step - Conditional Admission*

Fill out this application if you are a prospective student who desires to enter the online MA in International Development program or take the 10-week online Foundations of Biblical Faith introductory course. Please review all conditional admission requirements prior to applying. 

*NOTE: No cost to apply. 

M.A. Program Conditional Admissions Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent from an accredited university
  • Copy of unofficial transcripts 
  • TOEFL or IELTS score (English Language Proficiency) for applicants whose first language is not English)
    • Minimum TOEFL score of 90 for internet-based test or 550 for paper-based test
    • Minimum IELTS score of 6.5
  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver's license, passport, national ID)

  • Letter of Recommendation

2nd Step - Full Admission*

Request this application if you have completed 1 or 2 WCIU courses under conditional admission with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and would like to continue in the online MA in International Development degree program. Please review all full admission requirements prior to applying.

*NOTE: $50 one-time application fee.


READMISSION

MA in International Development Program

PhD in International Development Program*

This application is for those who previously attended WCIU, but stopped taking courses for two or more consecutive terms and would like to return back to the University.

*Note: If readmitted to the program, there will be a $50.00 readmission fee since you have not taken courses for two consecutive terms or more. Please see catalog for more information. 



PhD in International Development Program

Acceptance for our PhD in International Development program is currently paused. WCIU is only admitting new students into its core, MA in International Development degree program.
