Schedule of Fees

Effective 1/1/10, WCIU's Schedule of Fees will be changing.
Please check the page regarding the program for which you are applying,
by choosing the links Ph.D. Program or M.A. Program in the left margin.
The Ph.D. Catalog has been updated,
and the M.A. Program has a downloadable document detailing the changes.

All charges are mandatory unless stated otherwise. Rates may change at any time .

Tuition helps offset instruction and overhead costs. Program fees compensate mentors and committee members for services and defray administrative costs. Penalty fees are charged to offset administrative costs. Other fees are charged to compensate for services rendered.


Nonrefundable Admission, Registration, and Administrative Fees  

$ 25 Application Fee submitted with Personal Information Form for degree programs

$ 15 Application Fee for Insight Students*

$ 15 Reapplication Fee for those whose admission or student status has lapsed

$   5 Change in Registration fee

$   5 Withdrawal fee

$ 15 Late Payment Fee assessed per month for each item: tuition, program fee…

$ 50 Late Doctoral Learning Contract/M.A. Program of Studies fee if not completed

         in the first 6 months

$ 25 Incomplete Course or Module Fee for approval of incomplete grade, after completion date

*Prior to admission with WCIU, Insight students must apply with the Insight program office. A separate $35 application fee is required for that application process, payable to the Insight program office, and the Insight program will have it’s own schedule for late fees.

Course Tuition and Fees for Degree Programs  

Refunds on a pro rata basis apply for students who withdraw from a course, module or program within the first 60% of the time allotted. Specific information is found on the Enrollment Agreement form for the following programs: Insight, M.A., Ph.D.

Insight Program Tuition and Fees

$ 4800 Cost for 2 semesters, 32 units @ $2400 per semester

$ 1000 Estimated cost for books and study materials**

** Module Study Guide and Reader purchased from Program Director, textbooks are ordered from Amazon or MBS Direct.

M.A. Program Tuition and Fees

$ 4800 Cost for all four modules of M.A. Program

              ($600/ea Half Modules 1A – 3B, $1,200 for Module 4)

$ 3250 Estimated books and study materials ***

***Note that there are a variety of options for ordering some materials at a lower price, such as electronic format or the student’s own discounted resources for textbooks.

Ph.D. Program Tuition and Fees

$    150 Tuition per semester unit for Ph.D. Program ($6,750 for typical 45 unit program)

$    150 Evaluation of Doctoral Learning Contract – Nonrefundable

$      50 Evaluation of new DLC if there are major revisions - Nonrefundable

$ 1000 Program fee each six months ($6,000 for typical 3 year program)

$ 1000 Continuation fee each six month

$   350 Doctoral Qualifying Exam - Nonrefundable

$     50 Rewrite of one section of Doctoral Qualifying Exam – Nonrefundable

$   350 Retake complete Doctoral Qualifying Exam – Nonrefundable

$ 1000 Dissertation Fee – Nonrefundable

Cost of books, study materials, and other expenses associated with the courses and research is variable.
