George Mueller Academy (GMA) seeks to develop within its students the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills upon which responsible, independent, and productive lives are built. We strongly believe that such lives are the basis of a free and just society. GMA strives to offer enrichment and to develop character through both curricular and extracurricular education and activities. We seek to nurture the child -- heart, soul, mind and strength -- with a constant view toward God's design for our lives.
The classical, multiage approach to learning recognizes that how we learn is as valuable as what is learned; it is interactive and dynamic in nature and seeks to develop cooperative yet independent leaders and thinkers. Our curriculum, teaching and directed study lead student achievement toward a mastery of the basics, an exploration of the arts, sciences and cultures, and an understanding of the foundational tenets of our Christian faith. The curriculum by purpose and design is a survey of the best intellectual and spiritual literature we have found available to lead our students toward their highest potential in glorifying God with their lives.
